Hi meet Rocky,he is turned in by the owner who is working long hours and moved from the country where this boy was use to to the city with 5 kids and no time sadly here he is he is a sweet boy and needs more training and another dog or a very active family. Sassy is one of the rescue the was taken from a bad home in Peterborough and has been fully vet checked and treated she will be spayed before adoption... Sassy, shots are now up to date She is shy looking for some one to love her she is very submissive girl and will roll over every time. she will need some one who is loving and doesn't mined and good cuddle now and then but she is shy but oh so sweet and loving when she know you Sassy,needs the right home with another dog or some one to take her and be with her not a mean bone in her.. Hi meet JoJo (ADOPTED)is unnetured male he will need be vetted.. he is a a sweet boy about 3 year of age,good with kids dogs and cats he is a happy boy and would do well with another dog .He is med size boy about 30 pounds good in the house and loves everyone if intreted in him cont us 300.00 he has been with us a week and we have no issue with him another dog to play would make him very happy...he was found in the 4 dogs rescue in sherbrooke Inside the home at 541 Sherbrooke St. Peterborough ON.once again thye will be ready for homes after they are fixed in aweek taking appp for all of them..

Faith

Hi last but not least poor old Faith she is a pit bull/boxer mix and what a sweet girl she seems to have suffered the most she was created in her own filth and urine for god knows how long the others, though living in it were running freely through it. she was not..no food or water and god what a mess it was, this poor girl is legal mix a little guard around her food not with people just other dogs.. but that is understandable she has had litters and with that said is not spayed yet. Faith has been vet checked and test done to see if there is any thing wrong with her....it would be nice to adopted her with one of the little once because she is close to them or someone that will just give her unconditional love 4 ever.she really is a sweet heart..again she will be fixed in the next few weeks after her body is re-cooperated threw all this mess..she will be 300.00 adoption fee .that will included everything feel free to ask any thing about her..oh and again she is not fully house trained but has no promble going out side we are working on it....

Bentley

He is trained as far as sit, stay, come, and down. He has been living with us for about a year since my son moved home and has gotten along with my dogs. Unfortunately my son has moved out and cant take him and with the long hours he works he is never home. Bentley is 2 years old. My son used to take him to the off leash dog park and seemed to be fine. He does not like the word "NO" he does growl when you tell him he has done something wrong. He always cuddled with one of us on the couch and is very affectionate that way. He has his own crate which he stays in during the day when we are at work. You tell him cage and he goes right in it. He has never been around kids so I would not know. He used to live with a cat which he loved to play with. Bentley thrives on attention, doesn't like to be left alone and loves to play catch. We have a groomer that comes to our house that grooms all the dogs (he loves the water) He has also been to an outside groomer. He is also very muscular and strong. I have the dishes, leash, collar, gentle leader and his favourite toy. Adoption fees of $150 apply.

Kong

Hi meet Kong ,a 3 year old Male Red Rottweiler. Hewas turned in by his owner becuse he is ill and can no longer care for him..the dog was staying with a friend where he is became infested with fleas and had terrible skin irritation. Kong has no eye lashes, but can see fine. He has been fully Vetted and skin cleaned up. Kong can have a bit of leash aggrestive and dominant. He does get along with other dogs, as long as they are not dominant also. Kong would do best in a home wwith a female dog or as the only dog. He is very loyal to his owner. Kong loves to play and have plenty of toys to play with. $300 Adoption fees apply.

GINGER

Hi everyone meet Ginger she is a very beautiful girl a husky/wolf so im told. mix and looking for a new home she needs someone that can exercise and train her or keep her active she has alot of energy she loves the car and wants to play with all dogs she is ok with cats and kids she is great and she is crate train but hates it .She is given up by her owners who can no longer give her what she needs she is about 15 months old all shots and spaying done no apt and back yard and must.She loves to play out side all day she will stay there instead of wanting in so if you are the out door type she is for you.. $150.00 adoption fee applies..

Hi everyone meet Riley, he is a sweet boy looking for a new home he was shy but not any more and doing great he is active and friendly.. and he is a lab mix but looks just like a black lab he has thinken up since he came and is looking good..and came from the kill shelter in the states and did very well in his foster home and was looking for a second chance and he hopefully has you to give him one Riley, is sweet and wants love and attention he is house broken good with all the dogs here and not sure about cats but can test him i think he would be fine he is pretty passive around everything he is not super big maybe 50 pounds fully vetted and flea and heart worm test done? he is about 11 months old as well..he could use a active family or anoter dog to play with . Taz is a 5 year old Male Mini Dachshound. He was turned in from a breeder. He can be shy at first but will warm up to whom ever is giving him love. Typical of his breed, he bonds to 2 or 3 people. He is in foster care with large dogs and is fine. Not the best with cats even know he's smaller then them. Taz loves his toys, loves to be on your lap, loves to play tug and must sleep in the bed with you. Taz was not house trained when surrendered in. Now he knows where to do his business, but may have the odd poopy in the house. It's not messy. Taz loves the car and enjoys the dog park. He is great off leash and will not stray far. Taz is looking for a home where he can be loved as much as possible.A home where he will have lots of toys and someone that understands the breed. Tazis not good for a home with kids, he fears them and may bite. Other then that, he is a great little guy, foster home enjoys having him, he would make someone a great lap dog. Taz was very thin when he arrived, he has put the properamount of weight on and is on Grain Free food. Adoption Fees of $300 apply.

Jamaica

Hi meet Jamaica he is a three year old male fixed Shitz with all shots he is a good dog witha family that will understand has we have come to do if not he will bite you.. ..he loves to be the center of attention but plays well with dogs and cats too..which is why he has been given up by his owners since the new baby has come he is not doing so well they have tried but it is not working for him and them so he now finds himself looking for a new home .he is clean in the house but need the rigth owner to let him come to them and respect his bountries ??Jamaica likes lots of things:
Chasing balls; eating a bit of ice cream; having his tummy rubbed; watching tv - he really likes the Telus Hippo commercial; drives - he loves drives, lying in the sun and sleeping; watching cars go by; chasing leaves and of course being spoiled rotten. He is afraid of the manholes and will put on his brakes when you take him for a walk if you go near them.Also, he likes to pick things up when he goes for a walk, so you have to watch him carefully.He loves walks and he does not like the cold.He will bite on his terms does not like to be pet to much..,not a barker either he is non allergic and has just been groomed as well if interested contact us. $adoption fee applies..

Prince is a 6 year old male is looking for a new home he has grown up with kids but we are looking for a home with no kids any more he was in a home with a child and she bent down in his face and he bit her so here he is again, he is fully vetted and all shots and all dental done he does have fangs.but still and good boy in a home with no kids may be best he is fine with dogs and cats and has no issue with people he just want to be loved he is clean in the house and good created too but doe not need to be,a older home preferred. Tiny born on August 11, 06 ..he is great with kids and not sure about cats and small dogs he is fine with them..he is a big cuddlier and very happy go lucky boy. Good with all dogs boys and girls.he has a great temperament and is crate trained and fully house broken. he would make a great family dog preferably a family with children he absolutely loves children.
